Ahmadinejad and Karzai Sworn Enemies Shamelessly Assemble Together Iran offers friendship to the Afghan government while at the same time giving money to the Taliban.
The Taliban are Sunni Muslims and sworn enemies of Shia Iran.
Shia Muslims and Sunni Muslims fight each other all over the world.
Fierce fighting today is in Iraq and Iran is involved in the daily battles.
This is Mr Ahmadinejad's first visit to Afghanistan since both he and Mr Karzai were re-elected last year.
