Obama to American Students

Barak Obama, the 44th American President and the 1st Unique President, one bounce each from Congressman and Senator to Presidency.

He told the students of his country, among other salient facts :

''Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don’t know something, and to learn something new.''

Strange. Detractors showed up on TV shows in plenty. But, did they fully study the speech before commenting on the speech, at all, is a moot point.

We are glad the Republicans are shivering in their boots now itself. The first year of presidency.

Would they NOT nominate a candidate in 4 year's time and make a unanimous choice ? Good.

One said: ''He asked the students to help the President --- that's wrong''. - - - [ Didn't see it in script.]

Another said: ''The choice of broadcast school from Chicago, his home town, is wrong''. [ Why not indeed ]

Yet another had it: ''Why should he address the Students ?'' - - - [ Conveniently forgetting, their own, Ronald Regan, a Republican, did speak to students, once]

An Oriental Maxim has it that: Only a tree that bears delicious fruits gets stoned.

Stoned by Crooks, Liars and Cheats, we suppose.
