Lasantha killing: Two ex-army men arrestedTwo former Army officers have been arrested by Police over The Sunday Leader founder editor Lasantha Wickrematunge on January 8, 2009. They had been arrested on information provided by the Army intelligence unit and were being questioned, police sources said. Two other officers were also arrested on suspicion of plotting to overthrow the government. They, too, are being questioned on Wickramatunga’s killing.
